EENOVANCE is proud to announce that its liquid-cooled commercial and industrial energy storage system, the E-MATE 125–261-L, has successfully completed the UL 9540A thermal runaway propagation test. The evaluation was carried out by TÜV Rheinland, one of the world’s leading independent testing and certification bodies.
This result confirms the system’s proven fire-mitigation capability and marks an important advancement in EENOVANCE’s ongoing commitment to energy-storage safety.

UL 9540A is among the industry’s most widely recognized and rigorous test methods for evaluating how a battery energy storage system responds to thermal runaway events.
The test examines multiple levels—including cell, module, and installation—capturing data on heat release, gas generation, smoke behavior, and temperature evolution.
Successfully completing this assessment places the E-MATE 125–261-L among solutions that meet the industry’s highest safety expectations and reaffirms EENOVANCE’s focus on robust system-level engineering.
